Equally.
Salisu £10.5m
Another CB
A full back
No money to spend. Need to conserve cash due to reduced income from Covid
Ergo Any more than maybe £8m for KWP screws our rebuild for Ralph
Jeremy Wilson claiming that Spurs still in the running.
May get a few quid for Vestergaard, Reed. Forster.
Plus loan fee for Gunn
From what I’ve read Forster wants to fight for his place… fucked off Celtic in the process.
So as @Polski_Filip suggests, Gunn might be the one to go out on loan.
I think a new CB (Salisu sounds more or less done), a right back (KWP would be nice) and a midfielder to replace PEH and that would be a decent window.
Obviously if we can finally get rid of Carrillo, Hoedt, Lemina etc then that would be a relief too.
Oh and a new contract for Danny Ings of course
Michael Svensson was a good one to have.
Liverpool Echo claims they’ve not bid £25m for him and that he’s told Everton he wants to go to Spurs. Reminiscent of the VVD situation in that he’d already decided on where he wanted to go, giving that club power in negotiations.
He’s an albino. Looks like Steptoe’s younger brother and wouldn’t frighten anyone, except the club photographer.
Crikey, anything over £4.99 would be a good deal for that fella. His defending ability has probably found its level in the Belgian League.
That’s a bit harsh.
(On the Belgian league!)
Lolol…
You’ve never seen the Da Vinci Code, then?
Don’t know how much of this is lazy journo. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed it’s rubbish.
No, just fucking no, Ralph.
It’d be a rough ride for him, that’s for sure. He’d basically have to swallow his pride and beg the fans for forgiveness. Even then, I know he’ll never be truly accepted
Never underestimate how fickle football fans are though
#truth
Really can’t see it. Quite apart from anything else (and there’s an awful lot of anything else to consider), it’s a long way from a replacement.
It is almost certainly complete bollox
