Exactly.
He is a great example of a player where it is not working out for him at one Prem club - which then lets him go - turning up at another Prem club and things go much better.
This from another forum :-
So he is on £100k pw at Everton for the next 12 months then is a free agent. We Pay £50k pw Which is what we pay Armstrong but less than Vestergard, Long and Redmond get. Boufal is on £65k! If he does well he is likely to get another contract with us for the same amount of money. If not where does he go and what will they pay him?
I don’t know if his family moved to Merseyside with him but his wife is a local girl and he is from just north of Newbury so I guess we are an ideal location.
I think he has a huge incentive to do well for us.
And he has always spoken highly of the club and supporters.
Going back rarely works but this just might.
As it did with Mick Channon.
Looks like we’ve missed out on this one…
Is he still playing??
Walcott on his way to Staplewood for a medical right now, reports Big Adam
Fond memories on his debut - wondering what use this scrawny little erk would be and then sat there jaw wide open as he lit up the afterburners and left their centre backs for dead
You missed the bit where I said he’s been shit for 10 years, not against getting him but we shouldn’t be paying huge amounts when we need a centreback and we shouldn’t be paying anything for a season loan.
I laughed when I saw this earlier ha ha!
Theo Walcott isn’t Mick Channon, far from it.
It’s called an example my young friend, no-one was making a comparison between Walcott and Channon…
Hence my example of Ross Barkley - which is being ignored by you
Ross Barkley isn’t a good example hence me ignoring it, he had an ok game but the reason Chelsea shipped him out is he is 26 and hasn’t improved in 2 years of being there and 2 years before that at Everton.
“had an OK game”
Anyway, he was just one example you muppet.
We sold a CB
It’s all money in the coffers.
He was your example.
The fuck will they buy him at the end of the season.
That’s a shame. I thought he was one for the future.
