That’s precisely the question I’m posing. Only because of this sweeper keeper situation we are clearly deploying. McCarthy has struggled a bit with it and can you honestly see Forster adapting to it? He is not the most mobile or the best with his feet.
The Butland rumours have resurfaced recently. I recall we also wanted him when he was at Birmingham and Dave Watson clearly refuses to work with non English goalkeepers. (I know Sparkes is the coach now)
