I think it would be really unfair on Redmond & Armstrong, but when you have player’s of that quality on a free transfer, wanting to take us to the next level then losing their places to Bale & Messi is something my conscience could deal with.

Yeah I know, I was referring to when he originally left last summer and then this move. Saying he originally planned to stay just 2 years (as per a gentleman’s agreement and despite signing a 5 year contract) despite being injured most of that second season and not living up to his potential.
He was flirting with rumours of Man Utd and Arsenal but then went to Turkey. Now he’s going for a relegation battle with Fulham.
