Another year of injuries may scupper any move though. Pretty sure the likes of City and Utd will steer clear for this reason. Others may also do when asked to pay £150k wages…

So on that basis do you think he’s not been tapped up and is simply listening to his entourage of agents, advisors etc and just longing this out without any encouragement from another club?
This scenario seems unlikely to me for the very reason that he’s injury prone. If he does an ACL in preseason training, will that mega offer from Saints (relatively speaking) still be on the table? Big risk surely?

It occurred to me that very few clubs could afford to take that sort of a punt on him and have other forwards just as good for when/if he gets injured. Citeh or Utd would fit the bill, can’t think of many others tbh. He’d eat up a big part of most other clubs’ wage bill.
