⚽ 🔃 The Summer 2021 Transfer Thread

I’m sure he has a good personality.

I think he’s overvalued at €4m, we should bite their hands off

That figure probably includes his remaining year’s salary so we’ll get diddly.

dare we hope for a bidding war?

Why would it include his final year’s salary?

We could stick him on ebay

I was jesting but to the scenario where we have to pay him off because he won’t get the wages he’s on here in France. To prevent another season on loan.

Ah, get it now. Actually quite plausible, too.

I believe bears shit in the woods too.

Tbf, if Ings stays and pulls a strop, bring in another striker and sit him in the U23 bench.

Hope he realises we basically saved his career? A little due respect is all I ask.

He’ll end up leaving soon enough and for a pittance.

We seem to have zero exit strategies when it comes to transfers

Holy shit Batman, we’re in worse shape than I thought … our future depends on Leminaid.

It could be worse…

I bet Everton fans are fuming. First Benitez then An-dross Townsend.

I know it’s Crook. But zero enquiries so far

Is that just official enquiries though? We all know that’s not how it really works. A club is only approached once the player has already been sounded out. My money is still on Tottenham and Levy is notorious for dragging out transfers.

I can’t see Utd going for him. Very small chance that City might if they are blowing their load on Grealish and have little left over for Kane without blatantly breaching FFP (again).

So it’ll be interesting to see if he is indeed happy to commit if those two don’t come a knocking or whether he just takes any old move with equally low trophy prospects such as Tottenham. Is Thursday night football what he’s after? I suppose it’s European football at the end of the day.
