who is Brandon Williams and why is he worth £65k a week??
Replacement for KWP when he gets sold in January for 30mil
First part answered. And…
Man Utd’s 20 year old, 3rd choice right footed left back. So obviously he gets paid a fucking ridiculous salary to not play football matches. He’ll be a top earner at Saints
Too many Adams and Armstrong’s.
Triple A
Hopefully Duracell so don’t run out of steam late in 2nd half next season
Is that something to do with shagging bunnies?
Bunnies Shagging not shagging bunnies.
Don’t knock it til you try it
So Adam Blackmore is less convinced by the claims Ings has rejected the deal.
I don’t personally share his optimism because, whilst they are not a top top club, and aren’t in the Champions League (nor likely to any time soon in my opinion) I think Tottenham will come in for him on the cheap at some stage.
A good listen nonetheless.
Thanks for that, a very good listen.
Very much depends on whether Kane stays I think. ATM they are talking up their insistence that he is.
He’ll go to Spurs, and Kane will go to City. Nothing more than a hunch, but we can’t afford to risk his contract running down.
That’s just Levy maximising Kane’s price tag. Once a player actually says he wants to leave a club, there’s very little likelihood of him not doing so.
He’s got a long contract which they can hold him to.
They could indeed, but that rarely happens in practice. Nowadays the length of an existing contract only seems to serve as a factor in the price paid by the player’s new club. Throw in some bluster about him “not going anywhere” or some such, and kerching…
It would be interesting if someone could produce stats to show how things generally turned out over the years for all those prima donnas who left somewhere to go to “a big club” or “to win trophies”.
I have a suspicion that there are not many over the years who have realised this dream, and for whom this move has been somewhat pointless, other than bags of money.
… which is ultimately what it is all about. After all the badge kissing and chaaaaridie work, it’s all about how much money can I get over the shortest possible time. They’re no different to the rest of us. The only difference is that my decisions are not played out on social media.
The lads who went to Liverpool did alright (apart from Clyne)
The lads who went to Tottenham didn’t
Shaw’s career has been a bit of a rollercoaster - but he looks like he is loving life right now
Fonte has done well
As has Tadic
