I’ve missed a few games over the past few days. I was watching Tunisia v Belgium but stopped to do some hedge trimming and then go to shops. I was watching Korea v Mexico but decided to sit in the garden with wine and admire my hedges. I never used to be like this. They were asking pundits the other day about their memories of the world cup and favourite players and the footage of Socrates and Zico took me back…it all seemed so different then. I had less interest in hedges.
