I’d argue that a lot of what he does goes unnoticed, because it’s unglamourous ball winning or link play (which was why it was always so nice to see him score). His stats speak for themselves though. He’s been quietly killing it these past two seasons.

Yeah I read that “pap” and it is an eye-opener. It seems there are so many free-loading Football Agents out there at the moment who are prepared to lie through their back teeth to appear legit representatives of club or player. You can see why some transfers seem to be conducted through the media and others just sneak in under the radar. The ones you don’t hear much about are conducted between clubs, only involving agents in the latter stages.
Mostly seems a fucking nightmare.
I cant understand why every club wouldnt approach the players club in the first instance. Wouldnt trust someone saying they were an agent unless the player agree the person was - but even so, isnt it up to the clubs to agree a transfer fee?
