šŸ“š The Sotonians Lockdown & Beyond Diaries

He will wear you out with his diatribes about EU access to British Salmon.

I have seen Ricki live.
Twice.

There that explains everything you need to know

(Note: I didnt pay to attend either event. 1st time involved copious alcohol & a WC Final, 2nd involved copious alcohol.
I did of course pay for it with years of nightmares ever since)
HTH.

Gave myself a real treat today and power-washed the patio and all the paths in preparation for the excitement of an outdoor meet/BBQ with another household! :grinning: (At the weekend, when the temperature is due to plummet as the rain comes in. :frowning:) :wine_glass::wine_glass::wine_glass: methinks.

I hate that job - has to be the worst thing to do in the garden. The Ayatollah has declared that I might want to consider it on Friday. I am mutinous.

But you will still do it?

Of course. He’s a good boy at heart and does as he’s told.:rofl:

Road trip today into mountains.
But with a medical angle.
Szczawnica Spa town to collect a month worth of their special mineral water.

Get home to hear discussions in Warsaw about a constitutional lock down shutting everything no movement nothing.

And a story about a Doctor who kept begging anyone to do a proper trial on a Parkinsons disease med that worked on acute patients.
And he is still waiting…

Wall to wall sunshine all day and possible highs of 23 degrees forecast up here tomorrow.
I shall dig my shorts out tonight and give them a shake, retrieve the deckchair from the back of the shed and put a beer or five in the fridge. Bring it on!

I used to do that every year until I discovered ā€œPatio Magicā€
It’s quite pricey Ā£20 to do a largish patio but it gobbles up all the discolouring algae and every time it rains it reactivates it’s appetite and it gobbles even more.

Of course I bloody will, I might be mutinous but I’m not suicidal

Surely Chambers does any manual work? Hope you’re not having staff problems again. Speak softly and wield a big stick is my advice.

Have the day off tomorrow.

Early trip to the supermarket to stock up as YoungAdult#2 is home from Uni for Easter & time for a family BBQ I think.

That sounds worth a try. Will give Mr Amazon a reason to come tomorrow. He feels very neglected if I miss a day.

I saw LITSL tearing up the A27 past Mountbatten school in his Karmann this morning. Frightened the life out of me, obviously I was loitering outside as usual. :rage::rage:

OK OK…you’ve got me there.
When I say ā€œI discovered itā€ and that I used to Jet Wash the patio I’m trying to appear to muck in with you ordinary people. Chambers does it all since my elevation from the masses but I do like to get out a shovel every now and again to muck out the stables.
Happy now. :lou_facepalm_2:

This new found urge you have to ā€˜get out your shovel’ every now and again to ā€˜muck out the stables’. Would this have anything to do with the nubile young stable maid from Scandinavia you are rumoured to have recently hired? I think we deserve to be told.
