The pubs are opening next week but if you can drink from home, you should. If you can’t drink from home you can go to the pub but only for essential drinks. You should stay 2 metres apart unless you’re pissed then you can move up to 1 metre so someone can hold you up/chat you up/feel you up. Don’t get too pissed though as you need to stay alert but if you do get too pissed, use your drunken aggression to beat the virus… There will also be a round of applause for all bar staff at 2am every day to make up for the pittance they earn.

Break open the Champagne…we’ve just sent Chambers out to invite the neighbours to an evening soiree…a dozen should do nicely. The reason? Lady Slowlane received a follow-up letter about her “Shielding” notification sent out 2 weeks ago…

Campsites are booking up fast! Anyone wishing to get away for a few days in Blighty should pull their fingers out.
Booked a motorhome for the end of the month and at this rate we’ll be parked up at Rownhams for 5 days.

I have been bricking myself since Saturday. We had a not so socially distanced get together that night. I’ve had the typical response to being 45 and getting too fucked (apparently my last words of the evening, when found slumbering in my garage were “fuck off Ginge”).

Over the hangover. Think I’m okay, but not going anywhere for a bit, just in case.

I’ll have your moral judgement now please.
