I have to say, IF I was a Show Runner or writer, I would have said WTF? When they renewed for S5.
They actually āfinishedā the show really well with the last 3 S4 Episodes.
I wait to see how S5 entertains and moves the show forward

Itās on the agenda, although YoungAdult#1 is arriving for his 21st Bāday celebrations. He has got as far as me and was as exasperated with the books, so not holding out much hope for the series.
The trailers interpretation donāt seem to follow my understanding of the early books tbf

I will give it a go. I read the first 10 books back in the 90s. Possibly the screenwriters may be able to streamline the story so that it flows better.

Has to be said, what a marvellous actor Jared Harris is.
And despite some wobbles, what a great job of bringing Asimovās story to TV Foundation is.
It isnāt perfect, but it is growing to something memorable.

Itās well worth noting that within the next couple of months, weāre going to see the end of the Expanse novels and the TV series (as it stands).
Now James S.A Corey is not a real person. Itās two people, and while Iāve never been too comfy with double-penned books, the eight that Iāve read so far of the Expanse series have been very good.
I will be sad if the last three books never make it to screen, but equally, I canāt imagine them not being made. The stories of books seven and eight eclipse anything weāve seen so far in terms of scope and scale, making real use of the seeds planted along the way.
Now hereās why I think the last few seasons will get done, even if it aināt by Amazon. There are bits in the last couple of seasons that just would never have gotten included if this wasnāt intended, and from the trailer, it appears that season 6 will add even more of Laconia, already seen on screen and very important in the last three books.
If it was truly done at season six, these bits have no business being there.

Bollox, it is so far from Asimovās books. Good story on its own but its should say āvery loosely based on the books by Asimovāā¦
