Investing time into Clone Wars and Rebels is paying off with chapter 11 of Mandalorian, looking forward to next week :lou_lol:

It’s a facsimile of Clint Eastwood’s voice in a very nice Mandalorian suit of armour and a baby Yoda.

How’d you go wrong?

True. There is a trend for videos of dogs reviewing different foods, I’d be quite happy watching baby Yoda eating different things for an entire episode.

What is there not to like about Breach? #comingsoon.

Oh wait. Bruce Willis :man_facepalming:

Mando #11

Nerd heaven, Waster Eggs galore.
Well I recognised the Calamari race, and I did lol unexpectedly very early.

The story is advanced the universe building continues.

And ah…
Katie Sackhoff shows up.

Marvellous stiff

Freudian slip???

The promise of things to come, I fear, is going to be an empty promise…especially if you have watched the end of Rebels again…

Contains spoilers
I will admit to asking myself if he would bounce having watched Apollo 13 again last week.
Go me for spotting it!

Homage seems to be the theme so far we’ve had Tremors, Alien and now Apollo 13. I’d like to see Fear and Loathing in Canto Bight next :lou_lol:

Biggest homage was to Battlestar Galactica & having Katie Sachoff as a guest star

Not really, she voiced the same character in the cartoons…

You pay for it?
I’m out.

I don’t use it.

I’m just at that stage where many of the poindexters in my life are saying ā€œPlex Plex Plex!ā€ in my ear all the time.

Chapter 12 - Gina Carano

In watching this week’s Mandalorian, I think I’ve realised why all modern Star Trek is a bit shit. The Mandalorian is a show that is in love with its source material. The new Trek stuff seems a bit embarrassed by its inspiration

While you could say the same thing about the new Star Wars films; if nothing else they really loved the source material, they don’t break any new useful ground and actually break a lot of existing continuity.

The Mandalorian is just right. In love with the source material, and a lot more of it than the films are, and slowly but surely, creating a slice of that galaxy long long ago in our minds.
