Just think itās gone downhill. The storylines and scripts are nowhere near as engaging as past series.

I didnāt say it hadnāt gone downhill. It has sadly to say, since the Dr had a sex change.
But the last episode was the best of the last series if episode 9 is the last one?

For me itās become too unbelievable.
In these days, it isnāt really an ask to have any sort of Doctor. Male, female, black, white - no one really gives a shit.
Iāve loved many individual episodes of the modern Doctor Who.
It was at its best when Billie Piper and Catherine Tate were involved. The Gillan/Smith partnership was also excellent.
Plots went downhill post-haste and what we seem to have with Jodie is an awkward meeting of the modern series finally going full woke at the exact same time as appointing a female to play the part.
Personally, Iām not bothered about having a female time lord for all the reasons enumerated above, and I think Jodie Whittaker a fine actor that is ill-served by the scripts.

Well I enjoyed the 1st two Jodie episodes.
Then realised how exhausted I really was and woke up 12 hours later.

This for me as well, scripts started to go down hill post David Tennant, Matt Smith was good but the scripts started to get a little too touchy-feely IYKWIM.
Love Jodie as the Doctor, hate the scripts, hate the companionsā¦
S2 of Altered Carbon has just dropped on Netflix woo hoo
Be interesting to see how they handle this one, will it be like season 2 of Castle Rock with a completely different story line, ignoring the story line from the 1st??

Seems I rewatched the last episode of S1 by mistake last week.
Which in hindsight was a really clever idea, because when coupled with the intro to S2 everything made sense.
Then we launch into ep1 of S2 and it made sense, answered @BTripz question introduced an MCU Star in the lead role and went into Space.
Very good start.

another one that needs sticking with, my son watched it through to the end and was disappointed with the endingā¦
Donāt think it tied up with the Norse mythology heād learnt from playing God of War, however he is now reading up more on Norse mythology which is a good thingā¦
