I bet he’s gutted that Warnock got snapped up a week too early.

The story doing the rounds yesterday was that they were going to put a Director of Football above him, which he felt would have undermined him. He’s still being undermined really. Director of Football or experienced Assistant Manager; either way the club have got concerns about Garry’s relatively green status. Bit of a difficult one in his shoes.

I hear David Moyes is available…

Feel a bit sorry for Monk. One minute you are bigged up then you are crap. Same with Adkins. Still, if you succeed you are a hero and if you fail you’re paid shit loads of cash to leave and probably get the chance to fail again somewhere else pretty soon so win-win.

Well, with the payoff sums involved, it’s difficult to feel too sorry for managers. The problem for any manager coming out of Swansea is that the club is perceived to be so well run that any manager can roll in and do well there. A bit like us and Adkins. How much was us and how much was him?

I’m sure he’ll enjoy the time off if it happens. He just won’t get to call it a sabbatical.

Garry Monk has left the building.

Football is fecking crazy! What next RK!!

Rather scary that a month constitutes ‘more time’ within football.

Especially when they’ve only played 3 matches since then due to the Internationals!

Where is MLG when you need him?

I bet at start of the season Gary Monk didn’t think he’d be sacked in Dec for being 1 point/1 place below Chelsea.

Who will Swansea turn to next? These are the latest odds, with former manager Brendan Rodgers leading the way

When I was living in Leigh and unemployed, they didn’t have any actual computing jobs on their job centre wall, I said so, and the woman got all huffity and suggested I look at clerical. I told her to do one, and that I’d continue my search online.

I wonder how many football manager jobs are going to be on the wall in Swansea job centre (well, one - but that’s no previous applicants).

Getting closé for José. The bit in bold is beautiful :lou_lol:

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho’s future at the club is in question following discussions about his position between the Blues’ board of directors.

Owner Roman Abramovich led the talks after the champions were beaten 2-1 at Leicester on Monday.

It was their ninth Premier League defeat in 16 games and left them a point above the relegation places.

It is not clear whether Mourinho, 52, will be in charge for Saturday’s home game with fellow strugglers Sunderland.

Oh no, I don’t want them to sack him. I want the misery to continue for longer. But also, I like Jose. I think he’s entertaining.

No he’s a twat

I didn’t even know Chelsea had a board until they met today.

Jose must be hanging on by his fingertips.

The Special one is now the unemployed Special One!!
