Well, I was going to have a quiet game watching at home but fuckin’ Virgin Media decides to have an internet outage for the first time for 3 months.
I waited until 20 minutes before KO and then took a stroll up the road to the local as the cunts hadn’t fixed it.
I don’t know why but I’ve never felt so tense watching a game as I did today. It eased a little when Arma did his party piece but I was more than happy when we got to half time still in the lead.
The second half was sheer torture, I thought I was going to have a heart attack every time Leeds got into our final third
which was most of the game. With the 90 minutes approaching I knew we were going to have at least 12 minutes added. What should I do? Hold on tight or wimp out and walk home.
I did the heroic thing and stayed to the end. Joined in the celebrations and then walked calmly home.
I’ll now allow myself a
WHOOOOPEEEE!!

Brilliant. only saw the second half on TV and it went on for ever, but great defensive performance - something we don’t do.

Apart from Che, who was poor, every player put total commitment into that. Very pleased for Martin too. He’s grown with the team.
