I’m not sure I would use the word hero in relation to him Bear. He has a small following amonst some of the more simple minded posters (one of whom often picks on the same people he does just after he has posted) but to say that he is just taking the piss out of the wetter posters actually ignores the fact that he is one of the more crap posters on there along with the likes of Alpine, Batman, Kermitsaint (all the other bunch of whinging bedwetters like him that only appear when they perceive that things are not going well). He comes across as superior but what he lacks the selfawareness to realise that he is as much as a twat as the people he decides to take the piss out of. He wouldnt last 30 seconds here and he doesnt post here because he probably realises that we wouldnt let him get away with the shit that he spouts on TSW towards others. He is the worst type of internet bully and one of the reasons that a lot of decent posters dont bother with TSW anymore.

Thing is we know that we often bring in quality signings at the last minute, so what is the point of going on ad infinitum about being “underwhelmed” about the transfer business until it is actually concluded? There seems to me to be very few rational posts about where we might be going and a great many complaining that so and so isnt a replacement for so and so. I ain’t seen his recent work, but Fry’s job used to be correcting people who was being obviously dumb. He’s like a sarcastic MLG, or a Poundshop Turkish. You guise should cut Fry some slack! He works v.long hours, and as far as I am aware, does it all unpaid. I wouldn’t be surprise if he is awarded MBE at some point, should The Queen somehow get to hear of his exploits.
I had the same issue Bear so I wrote to the mods and asked them to help out. I didnt get a response from any of them but when my fiver was due they obviosly had done something because I am now back as a 3 a day pleb! Happy days!

Appreciate the frustration Soggy, and can understand where you are coming from. But maybe weneed to acknowledge that if not on a wind up, then not everyone is as ‘sophisticated’ in their understanding and acceptance of the situation. I dont think anyone who is a fan wants the board to fail… I certainly don’t yet I do have reservations about the strategy - mainly becasue despite being logical, logic is rarely a marker of success in an irrational financially driven environment… but I wont go back there…
