Anyone on twitter started this suggestion from the articles comments yet?

As developed by Russia’ sounds like a good hashtag meme for Twitter. Unfortunately, I don’t use it.

For example:

I’ve just witnessed someone torture a cat with a theremin… as developed by Russia.

I just smashed a nun over the head with a bottle of vodka… as developed by Russia.

To be honest that’s pretty awful. I’d like to think it’s a provocative design matter, rather than an editorial choice. Either way it’s not great.

Is there a link for BBC article on this? Background looks very blurred. Could be anywhere.

It was on Newsnight last night.

Cheers @goatboy

The picture in the twitter post doesn’t do justice to how bad it truly was. This is fox news level.

When are they doing one with a backdrop of May, surrounded by an array of weapons, with burning and starving women and children at her feet, whilst discussing just about anywhere in the Middle East?

They could at least claim that as factual.

We’re going to the polls. This year. At least, that’s my reckoning on all the bollocks that has gone down during the last couple of weeks. It is complete farce, one I suspect has been orchestrated by the Tories and the collusion of some Labour right wingers. It’s always worth remembering that Parliamentarians have more in common with each other than they do with the people they serve.

My reasoning is this. As we’ve seen in the budgets since the 2017 general election, the Tories haven’t developed any new policy ideas. Things are getting worse, not better. The NHS has probably just gone through its worst winter in its history, even more so because it, along with a whole load of other public services, are being wound down. Deliberately. Don’t think for one second that the public sector pay freeze is about balancing the books. It’s about getting people working in the public sector so destitute and/or demoralised that they become agency nurses or teach in private schools.

Spreadshit Phil might have re-baptised himself Tigger, but there was very little in his recent statement that helped people, and much to justify the Tories crippling austerity, which didn’t.

I have done jury service. Without mentioning specifics, I found the defendant unpleasant, but we, the jury, did not find the defendant guilty. In a private chat with us, the judge told us that the standard of conviction was that we had to be satisfied that we were sure. We debated for hours, and we weren’t sure. There wasn’t enough evidence to convict.

Now if we as twelve men and women good and true had that luxury, and the support of the year long investigation and police support, why the fuck are we rushing to judgement on something that will affect our national security?

Election, init.

Fucking disgraceful isn’t it! I watched Newsnight last night and was stunned when the segment on Corbyn’s speech came on with that backdrop. I mean they really are not bothered about openly showing their bias are they. Absolutely shameful. But it is starting to be self defeating, this crap is swallowed up by the Mail, Sun readers, they are too thick to understand that they are being taken for cunts anyway, but let’s face it, they are never going to vote for Corbyn are they? However, the sitting on the fence people, those who are not particularly party political, many of whom have probably never voted, because they are “all the fucking same” are watching this, watching the growing hysterical nonsense from the Government as their lies are catching them out. People are not stupid. As every day goes by Jeremy Corbyn’s approach is being shown to be the right one. He is playing a blinder. These arseholes from the Blairite wing of the Labour Party, who really did believe that by openly siding with Theresa May they would get rid of Corbyn have just committed political suicide. The same old faces, i could have named the signatories before seeing the list. The amount of BBC airtime these moral pygmies are receiving is quite shocking. But this Salisbury incident is the last throw of the dice for the establishment’s attempt to stop Corbyn, they know that as things stand, he will win an election when it is called. And the penny has dropped, they know that he is the real deal, a genuine radical, who can’t be bought. Who won’t kneel at the feet of Murdoch, Dacre and co. It terrifies them. There are no lengths the establishment, sadly this now includes the supposedly impartial BBC, will not go to stop this happening. Any lengths. Jeremy Corbyn just needs to carry on as he is doing, refusing to be browbeaten by the concerted overwhelming attempts to whip him into line. Over the past few days he has shown himself to be a brave, principled and, above all, strong leader. He won’t be bullied. Decent people like and admire this. As i have said before, the only adult in the room. The only politician over the past week’s hysterical nonsense who actually sounds ‘statesmanlike’. With a months campaigning, when the Media are obliged to give him equal coverage, he will piss the next election. It can’t come soon enough.

Apart from your dig @ private schools @pap I was with you all the way - you lost me with that dig at T’kid - apologies if that wasn’t your intention

Apology accepted. Wasn’t my intention. You’ll know by now that if I wanted that, I wouldn’t have been subtle about it. All joking aside, how many other TCKs are there?

The Tories are depopulating public service institutions in order to make them unworkable.

Private schools are abhorrent elitist academies. A place to buy your childs future because you don’t believe they have the ability to succeed on their own, or in your own abilities as a parent(not a dig at anyone, just my view, which i accept is objectionable to many).

Tick working in one is his choice, after putting in the years in the state system. No one has the right to deny him that extra time for his family. I do believe pap said as much when Tick said he had had enough, so it would be a very childish dig(it was).

Standard tit-for-tat response to the UK throwing their toys out of the pram

Can’t see it happening Pap.

The morons will just about get to the point where they are being butt fvcked in publuc in Trafalgar Square by Junker over Brexit with May 2019 looming fast.

A point where every chicken has come home to roost and the Torys are trying to get the Russians to hit May.

No point total no win timing.

However you could equally argue that a sudden rise in the invasion threat by the Russian Bear makes European Solidarity critical and they can cancel Brexit in the interest of National Security.

It’ also a stupid idea btw

Disagree Phil. This is the only time that New Labour and the Tories have left. Labour has shifted massively to the left throughout the party. The only play the old guard have is to lose another election and say “he can’t stay on. He’s lost two general elections”.

The Tories have nowt policy wise, so this smear and fear routine is their last throw of the dice too.
