Your wife has taste
What is it with fruit gin - it’s alcopops for the middle aged
Martin Millers or No3 London Gin - no ifs no buts

Nah ‘The Botanist’ made at Bruichladdich distillery on islay… wonderful stuff
But, but she married me…or so she would say…
Can’t disagree with you there, it is pretty minging to be honest…
I’ve now had 4 doubles (200ml) and have run out of tonic, might have to start mixing the bugger with Pepsi Max just to get it finished and out of the house…
I would walk around the house looking for blocked sinks
To be fair the recent Dyno-rod visit cost me £150, however I don’t think even this could have moved what they did (lazy builder putting the shit from stripping the plaster board down the bath’s plug hole where it slowly but surely hardened and blocked the drain, meanwhile the fucker has disappeared off of the face of the Earth)
Suspect he did the same in the wrong house… and was dissolved in acid and poured down the sink
Mix with apple schnapps, fresh lime and mediterranean tonic.
Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is beautiful, with either standard or aromatic Fever Tree tonic. I’ve tasted some rhubarb gins which are OK, and I make my own sloe gin - but then that’s a totally different drink anyway. I leave it very sharp so it’s good to mix with lemonade - my ever-loving wife’s favourite tipple.
I have a bottle of the Botanist in my gin collection, but I haven’t broached it yet. I feel it deserves a special occasion.
Add a slice of blood orange if you can find one, and standard fevertree, ‘tis most excellent! And lots of ice naturally!
This is going here as opposed to the Documentaries thread as they ‘demand the finest wines available to humanity’
Doesn’t sound drinkable for a vegan like yourself ?
It was more vegan than the Lamb’s Blood Stout or the Chicken Liver Wheat Beer I had after - or the actual chicken kebab I had yesterday for that matter.
Luckily, I was vegan overnight.
Another catch-up on Zoom with my mate in Germany and I’m feeling the girth of this little number.
Thankfully I got to sample this before all the alcohol kicked in.
Lovely and citrussy and at 5.7% just enough heft to get your attention.
Cunts.
A Wine from Norfolk tonight and I have to say it’s really rather good
White I assume?
Not working tomorrow, so have stocked up from The Handlebar and The Bookshop.
Cheers!
