Having said that, Moldovan sparkling wine, especially Cricova is good if you like that sort of thing.

On this confusing is it a Mondsy or Friday vibe dsy. We have cracked open some fizzy wine from my partner’s boss. I’m also making a roast (with a lot of food from my parents). What could go wrong?
This is the drink that inspired @saintbletch to mint a badge specially for me. Twisted Nose gin from the Winchester Distillery, mixed with Fever-Tree elderflower tonic and finished with a slice of pink grapefruit. Could it be more middle class? Could I? Clearly not.

Wrong, wrong, wrong it should, of course, be made with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic water.
Going out on a limb there, old chap. The makers of both the gin and the tonic recommend elderflower, and who am I to disagree? On the other hand, as I also have Mediterranean tonic in the fridge, I could give your suggestion a try. Would you still have pink grapefruit?

Not sure, pink grapefruit is quite bitter is it not. If you go the Mediterranean route you might want to change that up to strawberries and raspberries…
