On 3rd G+T having only got back from Zurich this morning and Mrs Mot is out at some book thing, Teenage mutant MoT is hidden away in room doing teenage mutant things… leaving me to watch cricket and drink… Key is to not get too cocky and stop and get to bed before Mrs Mot get back and provides the ‘commentary of unimpressed’ … which whilst legitimate and perhaps even justified, is too much for me after a stressful week

Well the planned Chenonceau didn’t happen, however, instead we approached a Pinot noir from Oregon and now we are sorting out a Vacqueyras - buy some £15
1979 Lagavulin distillers edition (bottled 1996)… last couple of drams this evening - its been a good friend since it was purchased in 1997 for £42. Auction sites wanting £1200 for an unopened one as it was that good… sadly Diageo days means todays offerings are no where near… Cask quality is just crap in comparison.
