It’s a flat so… people speculating it’s all the pigeon shit on the roof. Last year a pigeon died in the lift shaft. That was awful in the heat wave.

Corpses take a while to lose their moisture. Best to store them below rather than above.

Plenty of blossom on the blackthorn trees on Catherington Down. Looks lovely now, and bodes well for a good crop of sloes come the autumn. The dog likes having a walk up there as well.

So we had a “fuckening” today, the IT term for an event that creeps up and fucks your day.
Eight weeks ago, I’d probably have lost my shit. Today, I had people accusing me of “ace management”.
Not sure whether to take that at face value or consider in the same terms as “the management has the full support of the board!”

The Polish Lidl Biedronka has a wine promotion 25% off & 50% off a 2nd bottle.
So thought we’d test some. The Crianza was £2 ish a bottle as a result and it is drinkable!
Woi hoo ANY drinkable wine here (ie one that didn’t have a kilo of sugar added before bottling is a huge win!)

Today I booked next Thursday off as it’s my only working day next week. I’ve already got the week off after. So I am not in work until 2nd May.
Result.
Sort of feel I need to fill next week with something but off to Seville on Easter Monday.
