😃 The Little Pleasures of Everyday Life

This bloke

Is a DJ
who came up with Wielka Orchestra (sp)
This year for the 1st time, all the TV stations Police, Army Gov offices were allowed to join in what is basically Poland’s Children in Need day but with a focus also on jit for hospitals.
I sat on some of their benches this summer and certainly some of the kit that saved my life was paid by donations to them.

Anyway the collecting boxes are everywhere even on streets overseas

Why i mention it? Tonight is the big finale, the big ticket auctions etc.
Fact is 34 million people already raised FORTY FIVE MILLION POUNDS!
That’s £12m more than Children in Need

Its astonishing how the whole place rallies round for it

She apologised and bought nice Wine

Sounds to me like something of a Pyrrhic victory, Phil. In my admittedly limited experience, it’s never a great idea to antagonise a bird unless you’ve decided you actually do want shot of them.

Got this on the Philippine air flight it reminded me of the old Esso cinema 45 years ago for the ice cream and the fact there was no entertainment films.

Oh my days.

There is such a back story to this from The Grammys

How can your eyes get goosebumps?

In a major coup for the Grammys, Tracy Chapman made her return to the stage to duet with country star Luke Combs.
The singer, who had a run of successful albums in the 1980s and 1990s, has largely avoided the spotlight since her last tour in 2009.

But she was tempted back after Combs covered her signature song Fast Car - a haunting folk-rock story about trying to escape poverty - and took it back into the US top 10 last year.

Now looks very unlikely that my big moment will happen.

ORLY? What do you know?

Still can’t give us a hint?

The King and Queen had agreed to come to my little town as my guests, but now cancelled.

And I’ve bought a new suit. FFS.

Was that the ghost of Jimmy Savile at 5:15?

We feel so sorry for you, I’ve just had a word with Lady Slowlane and she has agreed we should step in to fill the vacancy.
I trust the banquet is still on? If you’re a little short we can send over a couple of Royal Swans.

Much as I appreciate the offer, I’m alright, thanks.

You know where we are if needed. :grinning:

God bless Great Western (cunts).
Refund agreed - £20.19 for the half hour delay.
Nothing for being squashed in overcrowded trains by tree trunk legged thick necked ex rugby players!
