We are geographically just north of the airport, and about 12km north east of the City centre.
And yep they are getting it in town.
Atm it is non stop but very fine light snow that gets everywhere. It will drift if the wind picks up.

Been out all day for my Dad’s 80th, had a crate of 48 beers delivered around 10.00am this morning which has been left on my doorstep all day in plain view (despite my request for it to be sent to the local post office for collection) and no-one one pinched it! Faith in humanity restored… for now at least

Young Adult #1 has just landed in NY after blagging an upgrade seat where you turn left at the aircraft door.
Got fast track security, lounge access, priority boarding, pre-flight champers and what looks like an extensive free food and drink menu etc.
Hopefully snaffled some freebies too.
Left mates to it in cattle class.
Makes you proud.

When that happens there is ONLY one thing to do.
Smile at the most attractive Stewardess and ask her to send glasses of bubbly back to the minions in cattle class.
Happened to me on way to JFK with family in Cattle - sent bubbles
But the best? On way back from Lahore to Dubai sent a glass of finest Chardonnay back to Aggers after an England Away Week.
Crew love doing it.

I remember one trip to Singapore with the CEO. We were already turning left so all was good
I got to the gate first and the person took my boarding pass ripped it up and gave me another saying you are first class now
The look on the CEO face for about thirty seconds until they did the same to him was priceless

Pawel, the mini digger driver is a star.
His job is to snow plough the pavements and he’s been working almost non stop for 72 hours.
With the rate of snowfall dropping and locals like Mrs P_F kicking lazy husbands out with snow shovels to clear the pavement he now has time to dig people out of their homes.
To that end he has like a box fitted on his tractor thing today. Doesn’t take cash, just bottles.
That Dude is gonna have a helluva Christmas party was darned ner full by time Brother in Law gave him his bottle for digging our cars out!

Been an aabsolute nightmare past 10 days and basically stuck at home apart from supermarket & Doctor appointments- simply sheets of ice everywhere and not worth the risk with my knees

- Buy Bubble Wrap to send youngest Grandson his Brio-Mec rip off Train set & Polish Goodies for Xmas
- Get an actual Xmas Tree
My trip across town on the bus yesterday to have a “Zit” checked on my nose (yeah it may be nasty) led to me slipping and FVCK I have managed to strain my Achilles - Dear Lord that hurts and I had real trouble pressing the damned clutch on the car while getting Mrs P_F from work.
I was worried about knees & bones & FFS. BUT the best news is I will be able to park by the Czech Craft Beer Pub and restock tomorrow

Today I fixed the washing machine
Turned out to be a pipe that had dislodged in the guts of the machine
Two second job to fix and now I have saved the call out / new washing machine tariff that was looming large
Plus I have mega kudos from the Ayatollah
And I am feeling pretty smug
