Took Tuesday off work to go get YoungAdult #2 from Uni in Brighton and decided to take the rest of the week off.
The young master likes a curry so I spent today making and freezing a fuck- ton of base sauce and spice stock for BIR curries.
Now, on the orders of Mrs C_S I just need to make the house smell a little less like the Esher Tandoori…

A rather painful 5am start and 1.5 mile walk but worth it to see the magnificent sight of a mass launch of 50 hot air balloons. And the 1.5 miles back was seriously uphill.

A day at Bletchley Park yesterday - a gift from young adult 2 and his dearly beloved, with afternoon tea to boot.
I learned so much about the place that I didn’t know - we both suffered from information overload, and only saw about half of what there was to see.
Arrived about 9.45, and left about 3.30, after tea.
If you haven’t been, highly recommended - but take all day.
All the myths about the place were well and truly kicked into touch.
The tickets are valid for a year, so we can go back and see the rest of it, but it is a long journey.
