1st trip into town for 4 weeks lovely day just had to be done.
Made up for it with 11,000 steps so far so dont feel that guilty.
This was lovely Marcowe a live lager bit stronger & less bubbles than usual

I bought one whilst drunk during lockdown

Join the Kamado Facebook groups - loads of advice on there

Use cheap (ie Costco) meat to begin with - you WILL fuck it up a number of times before you get used to getting the temperature steady

Also buy a temperature gauge with probes for the meat and grill - don’t trust the gauge in the dome

You cook to temperature not to time

Recovered (apart from exhaustion) from Covid. A weekend of family including grandchildren ahead. Life is starting to feel normal again.

That’s probably the only time nowadays that I genuinely miss alcohol. If I’ve been doing something heavy out in the heat, on the van shifting pianos all day or very typically cutting the grass and working in the garden, I’ll stand there dripping sweat when I’ve finished and think “I could absolutely fucking murder a pint.” And a Becks Blue just doesn’t cut it.
Any other time it doesn’t even occur to me.

Bought a scratchcard for first time in ages today, won ÂŁ200! :lou_sunglasses:

As I was feeling particularly lucky I put on a few footy accas, 3 of them were duds but if Huddersfield and QPR play out a draw I will pocket £565, currently 1-1 at half time… :crossed_fingers:
