Prior to last post, all this years harvest has either been eaten, or turned into jam or pickles by Mrs TB.
There is still lettuce growing under cloches by the back door.
We’re ready for winter!
Slaughtered the pigs and made sausages to smoke in the rafters?
Forgetting that the NowTV pass I bought for the game last night is valid for 24hrs & Mrs C_S hasn’t objected to me settling down to watch the Manure v Citeh game.

“We want 9”
Cooking early lunch with the Sunday blues show on Planet Rock. Takes me back to pre-kids convivial Sunday lunchtimes / afternoons in the pub with live bands / jam sessions. The Half Moon in Putney was good.
Great venue, that. I hired a massive taxi back in the day and shipped all my nephews up there to see The Pirates. Brilliant night.
Johnny Kidd and the….?
Mundane Auschwitz trip today.
Polish + a Dutch friend all living in Holland.
Did my thing. Polish told me they learnt stuff about Poland.
Dropped them back at their hotel got a £50 tip.
Bless
LITSL might have seen Johnny Kidd, but this was just the Pirates, Mick Green and Johnny Spence. Can’t remember who was on drums, some young lad they’d brought in after Frank Farley died. I saw them all over the place, another good venue up that way for that sort of band is the Borderline.
Johnny Kidd popped his clogs in the mid '60s, before my gig going started.
Lived fast, died young.
You missed out last night mate, Hayseed were brilliant.
Mmmm…in the end Lady Slowlane developed a nasty cold and hacking cough (tested negative) so we even missed the dinner date.
Getting the call to tell you your teach Business English proposal has been accepted by a " large & influential" business here.
Just as tours go into hibernation

Reimagine, Thought shower, Thought Leader, paradigm shift, open the kimono, repurposing, innovation sprint
Yep “Boardroom Bollocks” moves apace.
My dutiful manservant duties to Mrs “metatarsal” S seem to be paying off.
Pushing my luck, I suggested I should go to Anfield plus two home games in December, and we should get the new TV and laptop I want.
I’m in shock, but all agreed.
Ooh.
Hello.
This is a GAME CHANGER!
Polish Gluhwein just got real
It will be served with a dash of Wodka later!
I’d go for a lot of vodka to calm it down
