So.
Corporate Airport transfer today. Couple of Scandinavians and a Brit.
I do the blah blah refugee bit.
Discuss why not in UK then the Grandkids. He asks where they live.
He then says oh is that near XYZ? I say yeah.
He replies I was there Saturday my son played for his school team against xyz school. We were unlucky, some small lad scored two goals in the last 5 minutes to beat us.

Oh I said.

No, it’s the Mayflower’s own Yamaha CF3. Nine feet of throbbing bass :flushed::grin::grin:

There aren’t many in the lock up right now, it flooded last week in those horrific downpours. There was a customer’s piano being stored in it, by some absolute God-given fluke I hadn’t bothered to take it down off the trolley. The trolley was soaked, but the piano was unscathed (unlike two of my own which got drenched.)

All plumbers (except 1) can now officially fuck right off. A contact given to me by one of us here has sent me an email, and having ordered a new (and better) kitchen tap it arrived today - 12 hours after ordering it! Young adult 2 came round this afternoon and fitted the new tap!
No more death by the sound of dripping from the kitchen!
