Moules Mariniere…I love 'em and so went our lunchtime at The Horse & Jockey, Denmead where we met friends for a convivial couple of hours.
It happened to be the biggest bowl of Moulies…up to my armpits, I just had to count the empty shells…
62 biguns.

Possible the only dish that Les French Fries are completely perfect with…

Lucky sid.

I am in a contrary mood today, Mrs P_F & Mum both on diets so I stopped on way home from Crapper viewing to pick up a Jalapeno & Bacon half & half Hawaiian Pizza.

Just thought I’d aenrage everyone by having Pizza with Jalapeno, Pineapple & Anchovies.

Anyone want some free weekend breaks into the EU?

Simples

The logic?
Ireland.
Irish Sausages = nearly British Sausages but from inside EU can bring them back here.

And talking shit about travel experiences?
2nd after golf stories tbh

Sounds good. Mrs S and I are fish/shellfish fans. Get a delivery direct from Cornwall every few weeks, including a kg of mussels for Ā£6.95. Bargain. They’re cheap because during lockdown demand collapsed (and now they can’t export to the EU either). Sadly, they were throwing away tonnes every week: they had to be harvested before they got too big and heavy and broke the ropes on which they grow. Disgusting waste.

Thin patties cooked on a griddle topped with cheese and then stacked in a bun

Eg

Wrong wrong wrong.
A Burger needs egg, bacon, mushrooms, onions, lettuce jalapenos as well as tomato & a patty.
Jalapeno, Tomato sauce & Mayo

Tbf mine will probably have all that - I usually make a chipotle Mayo

If doesn’t need egg - it is not a breakfast

A fried egg maybe or better still a strong garlic sauce :+1:

I have an allergy to garlic.
My substitute is to chop up pickled Cauenne & Jakapeno chillies mix them with Mature Cheddar & add on top when I flip the burger.
Nom nom

We have a sauce here.
Just called Jalapeno which is very similar to Thousand island but with a great kick.
One of my best finds.

Cool.
A pal of Mrs P_F pinged her that Starlink Satellites would be visible tonight.
Clear sky for a change so went out & about 5 mins later than expected WOW.
Obviously a new launch 1st orbit
Appeared as a blur near the Moon that then looked like a Comet and then Sants’s sleigh then like a train going by.
It was seriously cool

Note: I have misgivings about all the space junk up there before all this stuff but
1 it was cool
2 if it falls on my head someone in the family can sue someone
