Talking of things like that my mate had 2 Irish wolf hounds, huge monsters and he was in the Langley tav lounge bar with the dogs sat by the fire. One of them shat the rug which set the other off. This then permeated through the bottle and jug and into the public bar.

Luckily it was not raining as both bars were evacuated to fresh air and outdoor service was started.

The dogs were not even barred.

A bottle of water at Lidl cost 0.69 zloty

Now it will cost 1.19 zloty

Instead of putting plastic in our recylccing bin we have to take them back to Lidl and get a refund

Utter woke Ed Milliband nonsense

do you get a refund on the fossil fuel it takes you to get back to the shop to get get the refund ?

nah I thought not.

Another Government scam to fuck over the proletariat or in your case everybody.

The weather.

Beautiful Sunny, little wind but a high of about 20C last 2 days.

Luckily we saw the forecast so with Mrs P_F in WFH mode I was sent to the Garden because Frost was forecast.

MiL & I got the Beetroot up, she went off topped & cleaned them. Kitten helped a lot..

I got the spicy Paprika up, stripped the last baby Tomatoes, found the fabric sheeting to cover the unripe Peppers.

Then 2 hours of Raspberry picking.

I’m knackered but we saved everything. Many farmers across Poland were not so lucky. Furless of Cauliflower Brocoli etc all destroyed by such an early frost.

Last night someone stole all the Apples from the tree. Oh the wailing.

It isn’t even November they aren’t ready yet. Etc

Tbh some look OK others all looked maggoted to hell to me.

Anyway. Me and my busted up rotator cuffs was ordered into action with help from the Kitten (again) who did a great job of chasing all the ones that fell off and hit me on the head…

A nice sunny October afternoon job.

And no I ain’t going up no ladder with my knees. Send the blind MiL or the Kitten for those above 7ft.

Schoolkid crumpets ain’t reaching them and now it’s pissing down
