Ouchy, I expect a substantial bonus for that then

The employee benefits consultancy market has gone mental - loads of people moving for significant increases.

I’m approached at least a couple of times a week.

My big bugbear? Working with recruiters to fill vacancies with them also tapping up other of my staff, which creates more vacant roles for them to get candidates for. Sometimes I think they’re creating churn to maximise placement fees

That is the bonus.

But you didn’t actually say no though.

Here are my tips

Get yourself a PSL
Get your own terms they have to sign
Get a load of them on the PSL
Make sure there is no poach with a financial penalty for breach - make it a fixed sum like £25k

Now in a candidate short market recruiters have the whip hand, but markets turn and at some point in the not distant future you will be able to dictate terms

As for creating vacancies which we then subsequently try to fill - yes it happens but honestly we would rather develop a longer term more embedded relationship with a client - more money in the long run

Exactly- I’ve got HR to remove certain recruiters from our “approved” list.

I’ll check that tomorrow- thanks for the tip :+1:

If I am getting a room mate I want pictures up front and a significant pay increase plus a veto. @CB-Saint get on the job.

Trying to be helpful this morning I hang out the washing whilst the missus is getting ready for work. 15 minutes later she’s fucking about in the garden, I pop my head out to see what she’s up to and she’s unpegged and re-hung the lot. I guess I won’t be doing it again :lou_angry:

You didn’t put the pegs on the seams, you used the wrong pegs and the pegs were not matching

I got bollocked by my sister whilst at her place for washing my own clothes on there own in her machine.
Apparently I should have waited until there was a full load of colours and whites.
I tried to explain I had 4 t shirts and 2 pair of shorts that would need to be done at least every other day
NB i never washed anything else
