This, very much this, we’ve been putting off clearing my dad’s stuff out a) because he was a hoarder and b) my mum still lives there although she never goes upstairs.

Hand was forced because mum is, finally, having double glazing put in. Unfortunately I’ve had to do it on my own because one sister has the 'vid and the other lives in Gloucester!!

Yesterday was cleaning out a fuckton of old computer stuff that dad kept “just in case”, still got tons more to do.

Had conversation yesterday with someone who I thought would be sensible about procedures to combat Covid, when out of the blue he said words to the effect of “there is no scientific study that proves wearing of masks has any effect in reverting Covid 19”.
I sort of half heard the end of his statement, but to be honest I had stopped listening before he finished.
I just thought to myself, after all this time, you have neither been listening nor reading, you fucking idiot.

Tuesday pm sore throat -ve lateral flow
Wednesday am flu symptoms, in bed -ve lat flow
Wednesday afternoon 4pm , still shit -ve lat flow
Wednesday just before bed , felt better mega +ve LFT

MiL was same. 2 -ve tests no symptoms except feeling very weak,took her to Doc. +ve.
But in her case she is on Steroids for an existing condition hence tests didnt show up.
Same roids they treat covidxwith apparently

The big “C” won today and I have one less person in my life

2 years ago tomorrow the docs at t’General withdrew treatment to my dad. Following 7 days until his death still haunt me.

Then Covid happened….
