😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

Let me guess, he drives a Beetle too?

Not sure…he makes lots of unobtainable parts for rare VWs. Great machinist especially if you want a custom made precision barrel for your sniper rifle, and all at an affordable price. I’m sure there must be some mistake, after all he also has a Cocker Spaniel. :lou_lol:

Oh just great. I’ll have to put up with more inane chatter about this as work.

What is it? My assumption is men and women have sex for money while others look on.
Is that a fair assumption?

Oh FFS. I’ve just driven 2 hours visited the sacred Black Madonna Chapel, who performs miracles daily, I’ve had a word and Forster, Austin & Hoedt are STILL at the club

It’s all Bollocks- my brother stuffed a mobile phone prototype into the wailing wall hoping that by some miracle it would start working - we are all still using iPhones -

I came home, kept all the curtains and doors shut. It was about 28/29 in doors but 33 outside still.
Partner comes in opens everything up. Now its 31 indoors and out. :rage:
We even talked about it but he still left it all open.

yep quite a common problem.
to keep a room cool in the Philippines we will keep the doors and windows closed and the curtains closed as well.

Housemaids think they are doing well by opening the curtains airing the room by opening the windows and doors. So I have to put the AC unit on to cool it all back down again.

They won’t be told :rage:

A high temperature survival expert says:-
He’s a part.

Doesn’t help with the new-bloody-fangled insulation we’re told to install these days- can’t use the fucking top floor of the house at the moment apart from as a fucking sauna…

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

See my earlier post on modern insulation . Need the fecking windows open to let out the friggin superheated air…:face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

You didn’t do Physics at school did you?
Sleep downstairs.

Joking apart. 1st thing we packed leaving the sandpit was the electric fan,
1st thing we bought in the sales in January when we landed?
Another one.

Funnily enough, that’s where I passed out last night - on the sofa in the kitchen with the back door and all the windows open. Woke up at about 5am feeling a little chilly tbh.

Mrs CS ā€œsleptā€ upstairs and was less than gracious as I bade her a cheery good morning and goodbye on her way out to work this morning :grinning:

I have taking to leaving the windows up there open. If a burglar manages to get in there, he deserves whatever he can find

True.

Funnily enough the only window cleaners I can get up that high are a couple of Polski fellas. None of the UK people I contacted won’t touch the job with a barge pole (Dormer windows 3 stories up) - had to stop them cleaning that floor earlier this year as the roof was covered in snow…

…all for Ā£25…:man_facepalming:

Hope they don’t go back to Poland

Nah.
No work for ANY type of cleaners here.
Mrs P_F has already done the job.
So to speak

We live in a flat which keeps the heat in well in the winter. We have very large windows in all bedrooms and 2 in front room. Sun is on that side nearly all day.
My partner has accepted he tooled up. Probably need to get that in writing.
