So Charlie Boy has been taking money from the Bin Laden family, a million smackeroos in hard cash. Handed over in a suitcase apparently. I do wonder what the Bin Ladens received in return for their generosity. Nobody hands over a million quid without being promised something in return.
Maybe a memorial for a relative in Westminster Abbey.

Itās obscene that Ofgen are now being encouraged to raise the cap to over Ā£4200, when energy companies are already making massive profits. At the same time the government are urged to bale out those who canāt afford it: effectively just using public money to boost profits. Instead, why canāt the government show some teeth and enforce a cut in the cap? People before profits! It works in France: why not here?

Meanwhile Truss is doubling down on her deluded plan to go ahead with tax cuts which she thinks will take care of the upcoming cost of living shitstorm, instead of giving āhandoutsā. UK pension around Ā£7,500, projected average energy bills around Ā£4000, that will leave many many pensioners with about 60 quid a week for everything else. Itās obscene. Cancelling the NI rise will save people working full time on the living wage around Ā£70, it will save MPs on their salary just shy of Ā£800.
Handouts - when the government give public money to the poor.
Subsidies - when the government give public money to the wealthy.
