Sadly agree.
Never a truer word spoken.
Senseless, absolutely senseless, but seems to be where we are heading as a countryâŚ
I think Iâve said it before but politicians, these days, seem only to be in it for what they can get for being a politician. There are very few politicianâs that actually care about the common good/man.
And when one does come along the UK establishment, backed by the the MSM, move heaven and earth, using every dirty trick in the book to slander and undermine him.
I get that about Corbyn, I went for him but even with the help of the media middle England couldnât stomach him.
Of course they couldnât stomach him, they were told, literally on a daily basis for two years, by just about every news and media outlet that he was a Czech spy, a racist anti semite, in the pay of the Kremlin, would abolish the armed services, get rid of the Queen, etc etc etc. Pure lies of course but it became the accepted truth. Brainwashing in action, middle England are very susceptible to it.
I donât know, the IRA crap stuck and that was a long time ago, his lack of openness shall I say on Brexit didnât help. One thing is for sure we can be pure on the sidelines but we wonât have a chance of power.
On the rare occasions I pick up groups from the airport, I did at least warn them about these places.
Massive operation this week to take them down, Police in military fatigues armed with automatic weapons at every one, images of punters in their underwear being handcuffed.
An utter con at every level from how they recruit (con) dancers, steal back their earnings, strip search them for tips, and fleece clients.
âŹ200k in one night on one occasion.
Bravo
What a shock.
Still, I guess stranger things have happened.
Or it was a big hill.
Nah, that was Solsbury Hill.
But she clearly didnât give up
John Barrowman was an eye witness and I liked the way he called it a terror incident and the BBC tried to shut him down but he wouldnât say it any other way.
So The Sunday Times are reporting that Prince Charles was given 3 million euros,(ÂŁ2.6 million) in cash during meetings with a senior Qatari politician, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabar al-Thani. The cash was handed to the heir to the throne in a suitcase on one occasion, a holdall on another, as well as in Fortnum & Mason carrier bags.
Surely legitimate money isnât handed over in vast sums of cash in suitcases. If it was all legal and above board why the secrecy? Letâs not be naive here, politicians from foreign states donât just hand over 3 million euros in cash without getting something in return, nobody does. It stinks to high heaven.
Par for the course for elites
We have regular deliveries in carrier bags. I thought it quite normal when it happened to us.
In pre-WW2 Germany people used to have to use wheel barrows to carry their cash. Guess the Qataris were trying to be culturally sensitive to the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha familyâŚ
âŚmaybe not
This may be something or nothing.
The article does say, I think, that the money was paid directly to a charity, and did not suggest that there was anything illegal.
Perhaps we need to understand the Arabic mindset, who sees nothing wrong with handing over suitcases full of money for a charity - I remember the total misunderstanding of the threats of Saddam Hussain, which led to the (illegal) Iraq invasion, and all that nonsense about weapons of mass destruction.
If the money - all of it - has gone to a charity, then we need to make sure that folk know that we expect it all to be done properly next time.
If it transpires that there has been hanky panky with the money, then shoot the fuckers!
