It’s like that bit at the end of Three Amigos when all the villagers dress up in Amigos suits.

Except not as convincing.

Once upon a time, many will recall The Pompey Takeover Thread on fiverweb.
Amongst many amusing tales it told the story of a massage parlour on an industrial estate and a former manager…

Apparently he’s quite happy to face up to sex-pest charges but not to that of being the Skates manager…hence no mention of it in the Fail article.

Oh, hang on a moment, I get it. Deep cover.

Very clever Phil. Proceed.

Interesting news from Gobblers Knob (don’t get too excited @scotty )

https://us.cnn.com/2022/02/02/us/groundhog-day-punxsutawney-phil-trnd/index.html

Interesting approach to the cost of energy crisis

they have declined to remove VAT as it only benefits the average household Ā£90, benefits the wealthiest the most and may be regarded as a permanent subsidy. They are also concerned that the power companies wouldn’t pass the savings on

Instead they are going for a £150 rebate on council tax for bands A-D

That actually seems sensible

Also

And so all domestic electricity customers will receive a Ā£200 discount on their electricity bills from October and this discount will automatically be repaid from people’s bills in equal Ā£40 instalments over the next five years.

That’s a loan not a discount.
