Well, I canāt read the study as I donāt speak German. However, given that itās commissioned by not one but two automobile associations, Iād treat it with a massive level of scepticism. Chances are it bases its findings on assumptions such as that all electricity is produced by coal-fired power stations, or that it ignores the emissions caused by getting diesel to cars in the first place. There have been numerous such studies produced by motor manufacturersā societies over recent years.
