Note Zabka are a franchise chain of “corner shops” and it is said in the City you are never more than 200m from a Zabka. Being franchised they are often the only place open on a Sunday

Here in Poland there are 3 issues that “concern” me politically.
LGBT+Q rights, the ECJ/Polish Courts issue and Media ownership.
On the latter that means TVN owned by Discovery.
The Festival is on TVN. They have ripped the piss all night and half the Country watched.
It’s only an issue as TVP is basically now a Gov mouthpiece.

This will rumble on USA is pissed. So am I

Mistake if you ask me. Would be much cooler to keep it about.

Some context to my post about the Politics of the festival tonight

And yes, this is relevant to UK as well, a right wing Government attacking the freedom of the Press has been a thread on here since forever. I’m now seeing it played out. News Outlets have been forcible taken over by state owned Orlen and now this.

It is not a good look and is a battle that needs to be fought everywhere whether it is compliant journos and the lobby system or Murdoch and his ambitions

Wack wack oops.

Don’t forget her holiday to Costa Rica - a round trip of 11,000 CO2 spewing air miles.

and the reason…

in 2016, she went on a psychedelic retreat to Costa Rica, "where she took ayahuasca, iboga and kambo, in search of some clarity in her work.

Fuck me

And all of this whilst trying to destroy the contracting market so her families company can take the strain.

Well as it goes I happen to be quite the advocate of a good disassociative experience. It has certainly helped me to realise what a ridiculous little cunt I can be.

However, shroom season is a fuckload cheaper and environmentally friendly!

Many years ago I was working in our drawing office at London Road. The chap who sat next to me had a reputation for being accident prone.

One morning we were larking around. We were testing our balance. He had been using a 4 foot steel straight edge and leant it against the table while we messed about. Balancing precariously he slipped and fell, the sharp edge of the straight edge slashing his face as he went down. Blood everywhere but fortunately it missed his eye.

We made a temporary fix with cotton wool and Scotch tape and took him to the nurse. Wasn’t too bad but his major concern filling in the accident report. He said, “I can’t tell them it happened after falling off two full upturned Corona bottles” :lou_facepalm_2:

He did end up with a rather fetching duelling scar to liven up a previously dull face.

Think there are going to be some horror stories when it gets daylight in New Orleans & surrounding area.
Reading Twitter # New Orleans sounds like they have been totally battered

I don’t understand, surely the legal minimum is 20 days + 8 bank holidays, so if you create more bank holidays they’ll juts make it 16 + 12 bank holidays.

Then you’re forcing everyone to be off at the same time. Also those in the service industries will earn more for these 4 days, causing the companies to pay more. Guess who that will be passed on to?

Do away with them and increase the legal minimum, let me take my days off when I want to.

They crap on about Japan and the fact they have 17 public holidays

What they don’t mention is that statutory minimum holiday is just 10 days compared to our 20
