At least his spelling and grammar is better.
Thatās true.
Careful. Didnāt you do the same thing to Sadoldgit on the Diana thread? Are you accusing yourself of bullying someone?
Well, indeed!
Youāre trying to belittle his point of view by giving him what you consider to be an insult. Itās lazy.
I like it. But then I like rude people.
@Donkey_Schlong seems to have a few of our numbers already.
I was responding to his attack on me. Wasnāt that also ālazyā or should I just let it go?
Comparing one provocative poster to another provocative poster seemed obvious to me rather than lazy.
Sometimes thereās more to life, yes reallyā¦
I wonder how many users have already used the āignoreā function
How do you use the ignore function?
Donāt read their posts.
In the wise words of Bob
ā¦click on your Avatar in the top right, then click on your user name, then select preferences.
In your preferences page click on users, the rest should be self explanatory
Thank you!
It is - even I learnt how to use it from similar instructions, so they must be idiot proof!
I honestly donāt care about the ignorance. However, I find it incredibly interesting how a single innocuous question, the one above, has managed to provoke such outrage.
I am labelled as provocative and rude yet the origin of this ding dong was a simple, politely worded question, to which I received a less than friendly response. Quite bizarre really.
Iām mildly intrigued as to whether you actually have a donkey sized schlong? Most usernames reflect the poster in some way, so i wonder whether it does in your case?
Before anyone asks, my name reflects the fact i am a council estate reared, trouble making, nasty little cunt. Actually, fat cunt now, but thatās lockdown for ya.
I would add ācowardlyā . Barry is not here to defend himself and heās being treated as the equivalent of that bit of black rock at the end of Time Bandits.
The other thing I will say is that given so many people were keen to get shot of Barry, itās remarkable how quickly they want to create a new one.
I think its just far easier to accept and be tolerant. Weāve got some interesting characters here. Some of them can fight like fuck and Iāve been one of them. Yes, weāve got a @Sadoldgit. Heās a sad old git. Yes weāve got a @WorzelScummage, and yes, the bastard has annoyed me in the past, but I am glad weāve got one.
The long term effects of anyone getting repeatedly called a bad name are plain for all to see. People either leave or become caricatures of the piss-take, like a scouser down south that insists heās a big fucking thief because heās from Liverpool. Barry ended up this way.
So while Iām not enforcing shit, Iād like to see a bit less of playing the man. If @Map-Of-Tasmania and I can get on because we want to, thereās no excuse for the rest of you
Not always true. I chose pap for two reasons. It fits into high score tables better than Paul. Itās also a bit crap. Check out the dictionary definitions.
-
Archaic
- A teat or nipple
- Something resembling a teat or nipple, such as a steep hill.
-
Modern
- Soft or semiliquid food, as for infants.
- Material lacking real value or substance
- Slang Money and favors obtained as political patronage
- (Cookery) South African porridge made from maize
- Worthless or oversimplified ideas; drivel
- A papparozo
So basically, all I have to do is be better than any of them and Iām golden.
Iāll get there one day
Barry has been widely discussed after his banning on here so does that make us all ācowardlyā? Barry has also defended himself from posts on here to me elsewhere so although he isnāt here to defend himself, he is still doing so. Barry had a particular posting style as we all know. Saying that someone is like or doing a Barry is instantly recognisable to all of us (and Barry would probably feel quite proud that he achieved such a distinction). We discuss all manor of people on here who are not able to defend themselves. I donāt think that makes us cowardly. I donāt think that anyone has said anything about Barry since he has gone that wasnāt said to him while he was here. This is what happens when you build a notorious reputation as a deliberately provocative forum poster.
I like that āpapā has an archaic definition for a āteatā. I never knew that. The last time i heard the word āteatā was watching an old episode of Sharpeās Rifles (i think), where Pete Postlethwaiteās superb Obidiah Hawkswell (i think) caught a sneaky glimpse of Liz Hurley ample bosom and exclaimed āIāve seen 'er teats and i means to 'ave 'em!ā As indeed, any lusty chap would.
I apologise to the forum for going badly off topic, here, but Liz Hurley is always worth a mention.
Show me a thread that doesnāt- what with the average age of posters (made even higher by @lifeintheslowlane obvs) Iām surprised it doesnāt happen more.
