Iâm not sure people need to be more patriotic? At the moment people can be as patriotic as they want to be. If you want to fly a flag you can. If you donât want to no one cares. Would you turn this place into a version of the US where there are Stars and Stripes all over the place. Some people might argue we have enough nationalism here as it is, why do we need more?

The World is turning inward for the worse, the only way to change is to ride along with it and slow the wheels, Labour looked lost when the Union flag is flown and the national anthem is sung, the liberal urban parts of the party simply snide away but what theyâre doing is giving the actual power and direction to the right.
You donât have to be right and patriotic, only a fool would think that way but it seems only in England is this foolishness actually accepted and given value, on the ground ask what the average labour voter thinks of Abbot, Livingstone and even Corbyn, this Country is dumb in many ways as we have honest mpâs who arenât patriotic and want a better society yet are vilified yet many love tax avoiding shitbags whoâd send us back to the dark ages but as they wave a flag theyâre accepted.
Why canât there be a middle ground and then why canât we take back the flag and use it as a flag of fairness, inclusiveness and progressiveness?
What remains is if the Labour party donât up their game in wrapping the flag around them is theyâll be pure but theyâll be pure from the sidelines out of power where theyâll change fuck all.

Can I ask a question, when the Government fucks up arenât you more emabarassed that they are your Government not the fact that youâre British.
I was watching the news today and a comentator was conflating Patriotism with Racism, completly different things IMHO.
I can be proud of my country, I can be proud of being British and not be a racist.

Iâm a pragmatist and realist, I love my Country others donât, fair enough thatâs what strangely makes this Country great but until the people that donât like this Country or donât like patriotism get the fact theyâre not getting power without it then theyâre lying to themselves or fooling themselves.

So forgive me if really dont give a fuck about nationality apart form its legal definition for passports and travel. Genetic accidents are no reason to âlove something unconditionallyâ
