Parts of Europe are so obviously not really a part of it, can you imagine that here? Well thank goodness I couldn’t, but a lot of Europe is still a backwater.

It is a deep debate.
Unfortunately unless you have strong Catholic beliefs you sit outside and rant.
But one point is missed.

It is subtle but important.

These are NOT LGBT FREE ZONES.
They are Zones where you cannot publicly openly promote LGBT IDEOLOGY.
So, LGBT people live in those places and are tolerated, not an issue.
They cannot have rallies, protest marches, post flyers and generally “Ram the Ideology” down the throats of the public.
And before you go all “not tolerant” UK does not allow what they deem to be toxic Ideology in public - aka a Tommy Robinson rally.

I and every major City dweller do not agree with this, but as one Politician said.
We are a Catholic Country. When the Vatican fully embraces LGBT Ideology then maybe we can.

A second side problem is that there were many arrests of Paedophiles peddling their filth within supposed LGBT support statements.

It is a problem. But less offensive than the casual racism in UK these days

Tolerance isn’t acceptance (religions here use that when they’re mostly all homophobic) and come on mate you’re not seriously suggesting Poland is more enlightened concerning racism than the UK?

As bad as Tommy Robinson is he is laughed at in the main and has no chance of ever being elected, look at what Poland has elected recently?

You can’t compare, you really can’t.

So I get that fact that an undercover agent for MI5 might have to do a couple of naughty things to achieve theirs aims, but HMRC??

HMRC do undercover work with all sorts I’d say, drug smugglers, traffickers and all sorts of the most undesirable people, I am for this, Snow White wouldn’t catch a criminal and its always funny criminals (quite rightly but also ironic) use laws to escape laws.

Not sure HMRC get involved in drug smugglers - the closest they got to undercover work were the cash teams that would go to a business, say a restaurant, pay cash and then visit later to check if the sale was recorded.

HMRC carry out the work previously done by Customs and Excise, so I guess that would include a fair bit of investigation of smuggling and so forth. Probably not drugs, though.

Having painted the HMRC offices at Reading I can confirm that most of their office hours are occupied by Solitaire and gossip.
