The only coffee I drink (apart from occasional filter coffee) is the instant Nescafé espresso.
Have drunk this for years, and quite a few cups per day.
Bearing in mind how daft, forgetful and generally lacking in common sense I am, if it werenât for the espresso, I suppose I would have been a quivering babbling loon by now, locked on a small room somewhere.
Perhaps if I drink more espresso, I stand a chance of becoming less daft.

The NatWest CEO has just fessed up that it was her that leaked the Farage details - bust has claimed the âI thought everyone knewâ defence
She has not tendered her resignation
And unbelievably, the NatWest chairman has she she has the full confidence of the board
Their are a couple of issues here - the CEO has to set the example for the rest of the business - apparently leaking client data is no longer a sackable offence at NatWest - if I were a Coutts customer, that would make me think long and hard
Secondly , her judgement - what the fuck did she think was going to happen gossiping to a journo - they are never off record even when they say they are
And now she has gone
What a carry on - why didnât they do that yesterday? Now the board have put themselves in the firing line by backing her

The irony is she would have fired any junior member of the bank without a second thought for the same offence

Regardless, Farage is milking this as much as he can to raise his profile as âone of usâ.
I genuinely canât find anything good to say about him and particularly about his role in making the UK what it is today.

An Australian former childcare worker has been charged with abusing 91 children over 15 years in what police described on Tuesday as one of the countryâs âmost horrificâ child sex abuse cases.
Federal police said the offences happened at 10 different childcare centres between 2007 and 2022 and exclusively targeted âprepubescent girlsâ.
The man has been charged with 1,623 separate crimes, including 136 counts of rape and 110 counts of sexual intercourse with a child younger than 10, officers added.
