So after the feeding frenzy about whodunit, it appears that pretty much everyone in the broadcasting industry is coming out for support for Huw

Maybe that will redress the balance. Personally I don’t give a flying fuck either way.

It’s the blatant hypocrisy and double standards surrounding the whole affair that sickens me, especially when it’s coming from our elected politicians. There are currently over 50 MPs being investigated by the Met for sexual misconduct, there are no calls from the government for them to be suspended from their jobs, no calls for them to be named and shamed. No government spokesmen screaming that Westminster is a safe haven for perverts as they have done for the BBC. Instead we even have our pathetic Prime Minister piling in, regardless of the fact that he goes missing when he is asked for an opinion about a Prime Minister continually lying to parliament, disappears whenever there is a vote on the matter and goes missing every Wednesday to avoid being held to account on anything. We have an ex Prime Minister who is refusing to hand his phone over to the Covid enquiry in defiance of a High Court order, effectively in contempt of court which would have anyone else arrested and imprisoned. Yet it is being ignored by the media and politicians, instead we have had day after day of this drivel about the BBC presenter totally dominating everything. It is the biggest dead cat ever! Meanwhile there are by - elections pending where the government look like getting a bloody nose being completely ignored by the majority of the MSM. No wonder this country is in such a state.

It looks like The Sun may have fucked up big style over this story, I really hope so, because the whole agenda from the start is to attack and destroy the BBC as we know it by any means necessary, for Murdoch to pick up the pieces. This has always been his aim and the aim of his supporters in parliament. The idea that The Sun has run with this story because they are concerned for the interests of a poor teenage victim as they are claiming, is laughable in the extreme, and shows how gullible they believe their readership is. Sadly they are probably right.

Salt Mine town got slamned lunchtime by a not global warming moment

All those cars were parkedcat the mine and are now fvcked

For everyone who has ever used the 303 at Stonehenge will applaud this.

The posh voiced nimbys being given airtime is annoying or cleverly done to pit everyone against them.

Only taken 40 odd years

About the same amount of time people get stuck in traffic jams on their way to the West Country

“ He also said there was a perception that he was regarded as “racist and xenophobic”, which he called an “appalling slur”.”

Possibly - More likely

“Someone classed as a politically exposed person, or PEP, generally presents a higher risk for financial institutions as their position makes them potentially vulnerable to bribery or corruption.”

I’ve binned a PEP from our business in the past (wasn’t a nice person either imho) - Not Farage btw.

I think Coutts have had a bit of a Bud Lite moment here - it does strike me as a needless own goal

I see people are beginning to agitate for all NatWest / Coutts customers to do their own subject access request

Even if they only get 1% it is going to fuck them royally

The reported instances of relatives of PEP having accounts closed/denied sets a dangerous precedent. Life is pretty tricky without a bank account these days and I think the banks could easily be open to a class action for denial of a basic service.

Wasn’t it already here in the UK news earlier this week & the law got challenged?

PEP does not alway equal high net worth, relative of PEP most certainly does not equal high net worth. Relatives of back bench MPs have been subject to this.

Drink more proper coffee peeps

I hate coffee….wibble wibble

I’m not a big fan but if it’s medicine I’m prepared to give it a go…if I can remember.

Fuck me, most front bench politicians from the last couple of decades would be without a bank account if they really were to use this as a reason to close.
I went through a period of time (long ago!) where i spunked a few quid on strippers and tarts. I trust this sort of behaviour is in keeping with the values of my bank (not Coutts, btw).
