If true, a great bit of business, €20m transfer fee.
So we’ll get the Genk bloke for about €5m, reduce the wage bill by around £40k a week, get a younger, hungrier player, ready to fight with Valery for the first team spot and he’s surely suitable for the managers system.

If that’s what €20m converts to, yes. A positive about the pound losing value is that it’s surely more now.
Back in full training, but as players get older, they have a tendency to break down. We won’t know until he’s played a couple of times.
I agree it sounds like a risk but at the end of the day I need to support the man I love in all his decisions.

Has there actually been any update on Targett’s injury? In terms of how long he will be out?
Logic says that if we didn’t have adequate full back cover then we wouldn’t be letting Cedric leave. Particularly on loan with no immediate funds of note coming in and also if we were not planning on bringing anybody else in this month. As it sounds like at present. If we intended to do business in this window then yeah it makes some sense but otherwise, not so much (if it is deemed that we don’t have adequate cover).
If that fee is correct I am happy to drive Cedric to Milan.
No fucking way are Milan paying that.
