While I agree with the sentiment, realistically Everton are one of those clubs more or less immune to any sanction which might actually affect them. I’m convinced that the earlier deduction would never have been imposed if it had looked like it might put them down, and it was only reduced on appeal because that suddenly seemed not to be the case after all. This deduction is only for show, if they’d thought a proper sanction could have been given without risking a relegation directly because of it, they’d have imposed one.

The yanks really do fuck up everything. Tickets prices are spiralling because of the American NFL / NBA / MLB owners buying up the clubs. They are used to charging big money for ticket prices. What they forget is that each of the US teams catchments is enormous and most people go for an occasion, not to every game.
Now we have this. The Manchester derby in New York will be the most soulless derby ever played.
