For example, when the scabby six tried to set up the super league the rules have never taken account of resigning from the UEFA competitions whilst remaining in the prem so they got creative and fined them £22m. Now if someone pulls that stunt again, it’s an automatic 30pt penalty
Fuck Everton. Hated them since Adrian Fucking Heath’s goal in the 84 semi at Highbury. Prefer seeing them lose to Pompey, as it happens, although it is close. Glad they got docked the points and hope they tailspin for the next few years.

I have read somewhere, may have been Le Tissier’s biography, that Venables got the hump with Tiss because after an England game the players were expected to go to Scribes but Tiss swerved it, saying he wanted to get back to Southampton to see his wife and kids. Venables decreed that Tiss “wasn’t a team player”, and ignored him after that. Wouldn’t surprise me, all England managers have their favourites, Venables more than most. Makes the man a cunt IMHO. All these gushing quotes today in the press, “Venables is the best England coach ever”, etc etc, is a load of fanny, this is all down to one game , against Holland which to be fair was a great result and the team played well, but that’s all it was, one game. He was corrupt as fuck too, both in football and his outside business dealings. He made Harry look like Mother Theresa.
