Both cases are more complicated than the Everton one. What’s interesting is the precedent it sets, I don’t see how either can avoid a really hefty deduction when the investigation is done with, not after ten points docked for Everton overspending by 25m above the permitted 100m.
City and Chelsea must have blown far more than that.

Of course it’s patently untrue that Everton were “owned” by Usminov and that Moshiri wasn’t really a “billionaire” but just a really well funded accountant, who suddenly ran out of money when Russia invaded Ukraine.

Apparently we are not pursuing a claim as the 10 point deduction would have made sod all difference to us last year had it deem applied then

We were talking about it when the EPL had recommended a 12pt deduction

He’s still absolute shit.

What the referee was thinking when he decided this wasn’t a penalty is anyone’s guess.

Nice to see all those fair minded Everton fans showing their support for ManU. Turning Goodison into a sea of red. Nice touch.

That shut the Everton protests up Oof

Shearer was asked last night on MOTD if Olise’s goal would be Goal of the Season.

Not a fucking chance.

What’s with the pink premier league cards

40,000 printed basically saying the PL is corrupt.
They have a point, we know that.
It’s just they don’t think losing 250 million MORE than they were allowed to is breaking any rules

At least the fans put up a good fight today.:rofl:

What’s getting on my wick is everyone is defending them

Fuck them - they broke the rules and they admitted it - the only argument is the level of punishment, which is fair - they spent more than they could afford. No different to going broke.

The key difference between them and city is that city is fighting tooth and nail against the charges - they have admitted nothing

People have forgotten that

I guess the stakes are higher for Citeh. Aren’t they looking at over 100 charges?

Also the City money was incoming not “lost” via “Sponsorships”
The key difference is that those rules had a tiny loophole in them which was exploited and the EPL didn’t like it
(ie City had better lawyers)
