Yes that’s the problem now isn’t it. The precedent has been set with the Everton - Man U agreement. West Ham and West Brom will have been aware of that, and know there can’t be any sanctions, the two agreements are exactly the same.

I don’t know about money growing on trees but we pay shite compared to our peers hence Ings and Bertrand quite rightly wanting to go or not sign the contracts presented to them, either we pay and they stay or we don’t and they go.
I could see West Ham for Bertrand or possibly Everton and Everton or Arsenal for Ings, you can’t blame them.
