Aledgedly was a sub 4 times in either late 90’s early 20’s
Apparently he was offered a YTS contract at Southampton when he was 16, and then a professional contract. Between 1998 and 2001 he was a regular scorer for our reserves and played four games as sub for the first team. Glenn Hoddle flogged him to Mansfield Town in 2001 for 100,000 quid, which was a Mansfield club record fee.
I can add very little to that stated by my learned colleague, Mr Krap.
