Oh come on he doesnt track back so would never be in our half of the field.
If, God forbid, we were somehow to take him, I don’t think I’d particularly want him “tracking back”, although I realise there would be cries of “… useless. All he does is score twenty a season, he does fuck all else.”

Exactly.
You never hear anyone moan about a big unit at centre half by saying “okay, he breaks up a lot of attacks, but how many really telling crosses has he put in from the byline after beating a defender?” That’s not what he’s there for. All I want from a centre forward is goals and the occasional assist.
